Whatever your individual circumstances, we provide a service which is both sympathetic and efficient. We have a wealth of experience and will give you appropriate advice tailored to your specific needs explaining the legal process to you in understandable terms.

It is a mistake to think that the Decree Absolute in divorce proceedings is necessarily the final act. To protect your position you should ask us for advice on financial matters and, hopefully, with guidance reach a full and final settlement.

In most cases, whether concerning money or children, agreement can be achieved by negotiation. We emphasise the importance of this rather than conflict and confrontation.

Costs and funding arrangements will be discussed with you at the outset.

We hold a Legal Services Commission contract to carry out publicly funded family law work for clients on low incomes.

The department is headed by Lynda Young who is a Member of The Law Society’s Family Law Panel.
